Indian Style Fish Tikka

Fish Tikka is a delicious and flavorful Indian appetizer or snack made with marinated fish pieces grilled to perfection. Here is a recipe for making Fish Tikka Indian style:

500g of boneless fish fillet (cut into small cubes)

2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp garam masala powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 cup yogurt

Salt to taste

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp oil

In a large bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, yogurt, salt, lemon juice, and oil to make the marinade.

Add the fish cubes to the marinade and mix well, ensuring that each piece is coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Meanwhile, soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes.

Thread the marinated fish cubes onto the skewers, leaving some space in between each piece.

Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.

Once the fish is cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.

Serve hot with mint chutney or any other dipping sauce of your choice.
