How To Make Shutki Bhorta
Shutki Bhorta Recipe
Shutki Bhorta is a traditional Bangladeshi dish made with dried fish. Here is a simple recipe to make it.

250 grams of dried fish (Shutki)
1 onion, chopped
2-3 green chilies, chopped
1 tablespoon of mustard oil
Salt to taste

Soak the dried fish in warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften it. Then remove the skin and bones and chop it into small pieces.
Heat a frying pan and add the chopped dried fish. Dry roast it until it turns crispy and golden brown. Keep it aside.
In the same pan, add the chopped onion and green chilies. Saute until the onion turns golden brown.
Add the roasted dried fish to the pan and mix well with the onions and green chilies.
Add salt to taste and mix well.
Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a mortar and pestle or food processor.
Add the mustard oil and mash or pulse the mixture until it turns into a smooth paste.
Serve the Shutki Bhorta with steamed rice or flatbread.
